Certification Pathway

Number 1

Virtual Pre-Certification Sessions

These foundational sessions provide essential background knowledge and hands-on experience with key concepts and tools, ensuring participants are ready for the in-person training.

Number 2

Hands-On Training at Synergy CONNECT

Held one day before the Synergy CONNECT conference, these intensive trainings dive deep into features, common scenarios, and best practices for working efficiently and effectively in Synergy.

Number 3

Final Certification Assessment

At the conclusion of the training, participants will complete a comprehensive certification test to validate their skills and earn recognition as certified subject matter experts.

2026 Certification Offerings

Synergy Cert logo - ATTENDANCE svg

The Attendance certification validates proficiency in Synergy's attendance functionality.

The program consists of five two-hour virtual pre-sessions held on Tuesday mornings, covering the full scope of attendance in Synergy from general setup and configuration through reporting. Please note that this certification does not cover state-specific attendance requirements. 

Participants will then attend a half-day hands-on session onsite at Synergy CONNECT, followed by the certification exam the same day. Those who pass the exam will receive an official certificate and badge.

Candidates must have existing working knowledge of attendance in Synergy and pass a pre-test prior to enrolling.

The Mass Scheduling certification validates proficiency in Synergy's mass scheduling functionality.

The program consists of six two-hour virtual pre-sessions held on Thursday mornings, covering the full mass scheduling process from initial preparation through finalizing the master schedule.

Participants will then attend a half-day hands-on session onsite at Synergy CONNECT, followed by the certification exam the same day. Those who pass the exam will receive an official certificate and badge.

Candidates must have existing working knowledge of mass scheduling in Synergy and pass a pre-test prior to enrolling.

SIS Cert Gradebook Badge

Synergy Certified Grade Book Administrator is a 24-hour blended certification program for district and school staff responsible for Synergy Grade Book setup, security, synchronization, reporting, and support. 

Participants complete eight two-hour virtual pre-sessions before November 2026, followed by a full-day onsite capstone at Synergy CONNECT. The course covers implementation readiness, user roles, synchronization, alerts, Grade Book setup, District Grade Book, progress reports, report cards, standards, dashboards, reports, troubleshooting, and PAD Security.

The program concludes with a structured review and hands-on certification assessment.

Premium plan conference registrants add $495. General conference registrants add $995.
