We will walk through the preparation, setup and execution of your Course Request process. We will also discuss some of the reports and screens for analyzing course requests. This will be a hands-on working session where Edupoint Trainers and Staff will assist you with setting up your district for a successful Mass Scheduling season.

LEVEL: Beginner/Intermediate
We will walk through the preparation and setup for your district's Online Course Request process. This will be a hands-on working session where Edupoint Trainers and Staff will assist you with setting up your district for a successful Mass Scheduling season.
This session will assist schools that want to set up new MSB option sets, but would like some guidance. We will create new option sets and add setup for building the new schedule. This includes discussing meeting days, course grouping, section attributes, teacher assignments, room assignments and linking. *Note: Attendees will need to be able to access their data remotely.
PREREQUISITES: Master Schedule Builder license installed. New Year rollover completed. The attendee has used Master Schedule Builder at least one time in the past few years.
LEVEL: Intermediate/Advanced
This session will review the basic characteristics of Special Education Query. Session topics will include selecting data on screen, opening that data in Synergy Query, formatting and outputting data. Attendees will leave with information and resources to guide them in extracting specific data fields to create and format reports of their own. Remote and onsite students will be taught together in a hybrid format.
FOR: Special education directors, administrative assistants and compliance staff will benefit from this session.
LEVEL: Beginner/Intermediates
This session is an introduction to Mass Scheduling for users that may not have done the process in the past. During this short session, we will discuss creating the option set, copying an option set, modifying sections, prescheduling students and reports. This session is not for those that are ready to run the scheduler at the time of the training. *Note: Attendees will need to be able to access their data remotely.
PREREQUISITE: New Year rollover completed.

User defined (UD) documents can meet the need for forms that match the look and feel of other Synergy SE documents and capture information within the database for ease in reporting and extraction of vital data. In this session you’ll get hands-on experience creating the user interface and print view of UD documents. Remote and onsite students will be taught together in a hybrid format.
This session will review how to add and define validations through IEP Validation Rule Builder and Validation Rule Builder v.2. Attendees will leave with an understanding of what a validation is and the capabilities and limitations of the validation rule builder tools. Additionally, Attendees will get hands-on experience building validations for the IEP and other system documents. This includes validation tied to grids, lookup tables, text or numeric fields, dates and checkboxes. Remote and onsite students will be taught together in a hybrid format.
