Edupoint’s Growth in Tennessee Continues

In the two months since the Tennessee Department of Education selected Edupoint® Educational Systems as an approved student data management provider for the state’s Local Education Agencies (LEAs), almost 20 districts, large and small, have executed contracts to implement the Synergy Education Platform to support students throughout the state.  Edupoint, a leading student information system (SIS) solution for the national K-12 market, continues to build momentum in Tennessee with their suite of solutions that streamlines processes, promotes communication, and informs instruction.

Edupoint’s success in Tennessee can be attributed to the robust functionality of the Synergy® Student Information System (SIS), which includes expanded capabilities for learning management and assessment, state reporting, curriculum management, online registration, and powerful role-based mobile applications.  Synergy’s integrated TeacherVUE™ Gradebook – with support for traditional or standards-based grading – provides teachers real-time data for immediate insights into student performance to help maximize teaching effectiveness.  The commitment to the Ed-Fi alliance from both Edupoint and Tennessee ensure access to actionable information on student performance – across schools, districts, and programs – using data captured in Synergy.

“We are pleased to welcome Tennessee districts to the Edupoint family,” says Robert Weathers, Edupoint’s Founder and CEO.  “These districts share our vision to streamline processes and provide real-time, accurate data to all stakeholders to inform instruction, improve student outcomes, and engage families in the education process.  We look forward to developing longstanding relationships with our new Tennessee district partners, and for continued growth throughout the state.”

Districts such as Bradley County Schools, Roane County Schools, and Henry County Schools will take advantage of Microsoft’s Azure cloud delivery solution in order to go live with the Synergy Education Platform in time for the start of the 2014/2015 academic year.
