Edupoint Educational Systems Now Offers Embedded Desmos Calculators in Synergy Assessment Through a Partnership With Desmos Studio PBC
Desmos Calculators are used in most state summative assessment programs, the Digital SAT, ACT State & District, and PreACT Online
Edupoint® Educational Systems, through a partnership with Desmos Studio PBC, now offers client districts the option to provide embedded Desmos Tools for students to use while taking tests within the Synergy® Assessment module in Synergy Education Platform. Beginning with Synergy Version 2026 released earlier this year, districts may add a license to embed the Desmos Graphic Calculator, Scientific Calculator, and Four-Function Calculator.
A comprehensive assessment solution, Synergy Assessment streamlines test creation, simplifies test management, and provides actionable performance analytics and reporting at all levels from classroom teachers to district leaders. Technology-enhanced items within Synergy Assessment have long helped districts assess higher-order thinking and given students practice on the rigorous question types that appear in state assessments. Districts can now further enhance preparation for high-stakes tests by giving students the opportunity to take everyday tests and quizzes using embedded Desmos Calculators that are also used on most state assessments as well as the Digital SAT® and ACT® State & District and PreACT® Online Assessments.
