Ad Hoc documents included in Synergy SE vary by district, but can include miscellaneous documents not required for an IEP Review or Evaluation process, such as a Behavior Intervention Plan, Manifestation Determination and Review, generic Meeting Request and similar documents.
When a process document or ad hoc document is finalized, it is automatically archived as a historical document and can no longer be edited. Historical documents remain accessible to special education teams for reference purposes.

Synergy® SE validates all documents for completion and requires errors to be corrected before a document is finalized. An interactive error report highlights any document input fields that have missing or incorrect information and conveniently guides users back to those fields to provide complete or corrected information.

Synergy® SE administrators can specify Medicaid provider types (for example, Audiologist, Occupational Therapist and Physical Therapist), associate staff members with one or more provider types, and remove existing providers.
Medicaid Extracts can be generated to support district personnel with Medicaid reimbursement efforts. A related report can be run to identify and correct extract errors that would otherwise prevent reimbursement. Extracted services show up on several screens within Synergy® SE for tracking purposes.
