Five More Tennessee School Districts Select Synergy Education Platform to Replace Skyward SIS

Districts adopt unified system to support student information management, teaching and learning, and district operations

Edupoint Educational Systems today announced that five more Tennessee school districts—Bedford County Schools, Cheatham County School District, Hickman County School District, Sequatchie County School District, and Unicoi County Schools—have selected Synergy Education Platform to replace Skyward SIS with a unified, modern solution. Including Rutherford County Public Schools, which has been under contract since 2025, these five additional districts going live on Synergy in summer 2026 bring the total number of students supported in the state to 185,000.

Collectively serving approximately 20,700 students, with district enrollments ranging from under 2,000 to nearly 9,000 students, these districts chose to transition to Synergy to better manage student information and connect operational processes across departments and functions. In Cheatham County, their agreement includes several optional Synergy platform modules—LMS, Assessment, and MTSS—to streamline workflows for teaching and learning and student support.

The selections reflect a shared priority among districts for a more modern, user-friendly system with better access to essential district data, more flexible reporting capabilities, and the ability to support changing district needs.

“Across Tennessee, districts of all sizes are choosing Synergy because it’s a proven, well-established system in the state, it’s easy to use, and it supports the work they need to do every day,” said Rob Wilson, President and Chief Innovation Officer at Edupoint. “At the same time, it provides the foundation districts need to grow and evolve over time. We are pleased to partner with these Tennessee districts as they prepare all students to meet the challenges of the future.”
