Edupoint Releases Online Registration Module for the Synergy Education Platform

Edupoint® Educational Systems, a leading student information system (SIS) solution for the national K-12 market, has released Synergy Online Registration, a fully-integrated module of the Synergy® Education Platform designed to streamline school registration for parents and reduce administrative burden on district staff.  Available to all Synergy districts, this module extends the existing functionality in the Synergy SIS to provide a customizable online registration portal to collect and process admission and registration data for new and returning students.

Synergy’s Online Registration module empowers school districts to control and manage registration data directly from within Synergy, greatly reducing processing times, eliminating paper forms, and ensuring data accuracy at the start.  Customizable to fit each school district’s unique needs, districts save money by automating the approval and processing workflow of all registration data, and eliminating the need and expense of supporting a separate third-party solution.   With support for multiple languages, parents can register students directly from the Synergy ParentVUE™ application they already use, including the ability to include School of Choice applications for open enrollment processing.

“The release of our Synergy Online Registration solution highlights Edupoint’s commitment to continued innovation and demonstrates our strategic focus on simplifying the management of all facets of student data for our K-12 customers,” says Rob Wilson, Edupoint’s President and Chief Innovation Officer.  “We recognize there are choices when it comes to online registration products in our market, but we know the power of our solution and the benefits and ease of customization that are derived from our fully integrated, single database for SIS and online registration data management.  Response from our customer base has been exceptional and we look forward to extensive growth in this area.”
