“Edupoint’s ‘Partner for Life' Philosophy is based on creating mutually beneficial client relationships. Providing our client with a solution is not enough; we are committed to be the best solution available for their specific needs, today and in the future."

Robert Weathers, Founder and CEO of Edupoint

Edupoint's History of Innovation

At Edupoint, we recognize that schools are the gateway to opportunity, and we share your commitment to providing today’s students with the skills necessary for a successful future.  In earlier careers, we have walked in your shoes — as educators, administrators, IT professionals, and parents.  Together, our senior executives total several hundred years of SIS experience, designing, developing, implementing and supporting technology solutions that optimize district performance.

As thought-leaders in K-12 student information management, the management team at Edupoint has set the standard for SIS solutions for almost thirty years.  Our innovative solutions have been used by thousands of schools to manage millions of students.

The History of Edupoint

From mainframes to mid-range, from distributed systems and client/server architectures to today’s true web-based solutions, the company’s long history, is, essentially the history of computer technology applied to the management of student information in the US.  From 1989 to 1997, the principals of Edupoint developed, marketed, installed, and supported the SASI III and SASIxp student information systems, which was then sold to NCS Pearson. Edupoint supported and developed new technology for the SASIxp product under a contract with Pearson School Systems from 1997 to 2002. Edupoint Educational Systems has been developing, marketing, installing, and supporting web-based student information systems since 2002. Edupoint’s GENESEA special education system was released in 2002 and the GENESIS student information system was released in 2004.

Our Mission - Partner for Life Philosophy

Our success is based, in large part, on the unique relationships we build with clients. We view our customers as partners and work hard to ensure Edupoint solutions meet the current and future needs of our loyal clients. Edupoint’s commitment to its customers is to provide all enhancements and new development to licensed modules as part of the standard maintenance and support agreement. This affords our partner districts the latest solution without requiring expensive upgrade costs.
